Rise of the planet of the apes
    7/10
a verry decent movie. but not quit what i expected from it.
i loved the movie exept for the end it was.. .. i dont know how to put it. it didnt really make sence. they went through that whole war so they can just live in the forrest there?.

The Librerian: (and something with a spear)
Im not even gonna rate this film.. this is the most horrible movie EVER.
i couldnt keep my attention to the movie for 10 min. it just didnt interest me in any way. that girl (i dont know what her name is), i just hate her for some reason... Not just the character but the actres herself too :O
and lets not start about the computer-made-stuff.

ive sort of watched untill a minute or 2 after the bridge collapsed, but when they stood on that bridge i was done with it. the animated background looked awesome...... .. ... in 1970 perhaps -.-

DWAYNE JOHNSON is DRIVER in FASTER... lol

Faster stars The Rock as a nameless DRIVER revenge spree killing, a drug-addled COP (Billy-Bob Thornton) is hot on his heels but has trouble at home, and an eccentric overachieving former cripple is hired to serve as the driver's KILLER. The only part of the movie that really keeps you guessing is wondering which one or two of these three will be dead by the end of the film. Of course, you'd never suspect (SPOILER)The Rock would get a hole blasted through the back of his head by film's end. Personally, I think it rocked.

I saw The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946 version). It's a thrilling film noir about a thrifter who stops at a rural diner and is hired to work there. Eventually he and the owner's wife fall in love and plot to murder the owner, but things don't go as well as they hoped when a few other people get involved in their shenanigans.

The film has impressive acting from everyone involved, of particular note is Lana Turner who makes her fallen heroine a tragic yet at the same time despicable figure, a feat which is hard to accomplish but which she pulls off marvellously. I was also fond of John Garfield's way of looking at people; that subtle work immediately shows you what he's thinking about and the film doesn't have to spill it all out directly, which I appreciated.

The cinematography is splendid, subtly highlighting certain objects (especially the wedding ring which is a nice thematic reference to the tragedies yet to come in the film) and framing people in shadows when something bad is about to happen. The shots of the raging waves, combined with George Bassman's beautifully bittersweet score, are a particular highlights. The plot is quite intriguing because it doesn't stop at the murder; it goes on and on way after that, showing us the aftermath which leads to the inevitable yet sad ending which lingers in your memory for a long time.

All in all it's a fine film noir, and I'll give it 4 stars out of 5.
How I met your mother, Donald Duck's parents style! Love at first temper tantrum!

    Conan the Barbarian (2011)

It... was alright. The acting wasn't too good from the majority of the cast, although Jason Momoa pulled off a pretty nice Conan. It seemed much too similar to any number of summer blockbusters: a lot of flash and not a lot of substance. It'd probably be worth it if you have a theater that does $5 movies.

Of course, I can't help but be at least a little biased; I absolutely love the original.

Also, that video... what am I looking at? Was he originally scripted to wield lightsabers?

Superbad 6/10 - Well it had some funny scenes, but whenever I expect a movie to be funny it always turns out to be less funnier. I found some of the characters very annoying. Emma Stone was gorgeous in this one though <3
