30 Minutes or Less
5/10
Granted, a few parts were legitimately funny such as the bank scene. I think Aziz Ansari was the funniest thing about the entire film. However, there were parts that just made no sense whatsoever. Such as the fact that they took off their masks as they walked out of a bank that they just robbed. AND when the alarm was set off. I know they're amateur's but they're definitely smarter than that. The cop who sees their faces, never reports their faces to a detective? Really? Or at least, they never get to that in the movie... (SPOILER)Also the car that explodes, someone Danny McBride's character is still alive. The other heist guy's head catches on fire and he's also still alive. Just alot of things were poorly written and thought-out. I know it's supposed to take place all in a day for most of the film, but it all seems rushed.
50/50
6/10 This movie was alright. It tells a story about a 27 year old who has cancer coping with life with it. First half of the movie was meh, and the second half was just depressing. (SPOILER)However, it's good to know that he manages to beat cancer and survive.
Cowboys vs aliens.

Sherlock Holmes 2
9.5/10
Absolutely loved it, was great filming too.
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
I watched a couple of films over the weekend. Finally got round to watching "Super 8" last night. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I was going to be. The kids in it were likeable enough but at the end I wasn't arsed whther the town was destroyed or not. Also, I think you were supposed to feel some sympathy towards the monster but again... I didn't care whether it lived or died. 6/10
On Friday I watched "True Grit" (2010) which I thought was an excellent film. Although I think Jeff Bridges may have overdone his southern accent a little bit. Am I the only one who had to watch the entire film in subtitles? The young girl in it was superb though. 9/10.
A Sound of Thunder
Saw this movie for the second time on TV. I still like it.
I just looked at IMDB and wow, ratings are so low, even though it was quite well done film.
I would rate it 7/10
nobody has watched tintin? My brother says it's good but I haven't seen it.
I will be watching girl with the dragon tattoo tomorrowif shiny says it's a 7/10 it'll be a good movie
Mystery Team
3/10
Horrible movie but had some funny one liners. "Sometimes I wish you never beat cancer." Best line. Now you've seen the movie.
Ip Man 1/2
Both just astonishing movies... just so well done... easily two of my favorite martial arts movies out there.
I just... NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Obsession/10
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Last thing I watched was The Grey with Liam Neeson. Ever since I saw Taken there are few things I enjoy more than watching Liam Neeson be a complete badass and this didn't disappoint. There's less wolf killing than you may expect given the previews, but there's still some, not to mention a whole lot of Liam taking charge and telling people to get their tit together if they don't want to die/have him kick the tit out of them.
Mega spoilerEveryone else dies anyway.
Stick around after the credits if you want to see the final little scene, though I think it ends quite well without it.

Girl with Dragon Tattoo (Hollywood)
ehhh it was a lame murder mystery and her character was lame. Not a single smurf was given that day... Except by her.
The Messengers; 6/10
Not a bad film all in all I suppose, yeah sure it has Kristen Stewart but she fit the bill for her character. Really character driven in the beginning but resorted to some cheap scares every now and again. Storyline felt rushed but I still enjoyed it a bit. I like horror films and have seen a fair amount that suck in comparison, hence the generous six out of ten.
S. Darko; 1/10
Horrible movie, I hated every second of it but sat through it so I could at least say I gave it a chance. It got a one instead of a zero for some 'ok' cinematography.
The Green Lantern; 7/10
Really enjoyed this movie, no clue as to how true it is to any of the green lantern incarnations but I thought it was pretty bad ass.
The Woman in Black
A period ghost story set in Britain, it nevertheless bears a striking similarity to Onryo movies like the Ring or the Grudge where the ghost lashes out at people that stumble into its path rather than taking revenge on those responsible for its misery. Well acted with suitably gloomy atmosphere, relies a little too much on jump scares where building dread would be better.
