Zokkomon... why did I watch this?
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

    The Secret World of Arrietty.

Its a Studio Ghibli movie with all the charm and sweetness of Totoro, but with a much better narrative.

    8/10.

Just a heads up, a lot of people didn't like it as much as me.

It seems the general consensus is that it's enjoyable though.

Ah yes, Sims - The Movie

Wasn't that directed by Martin Scorcese? It's his finest work in my opinion.

I didn't like it. I just didn't think that people burning alive while taking a bath next to a fireplace or people peeing themselves translated well to the big screen.

I did, however, like the part where the social worker sim was taking their baby away, and walls randomly popped up around her so she couldn't leave.

    Oh, that movie?
The plot sucked, I could not understand what the people were saying.
But I loved the part where the whole family got killed and the death was watching TV in the living room.

I just saw Mama on Friday night. I went into the movie thinking I was going to leave terrified, but I honestly just left the movie feeling more sad than anything.

I can't really go into too much detail about my problems with the movie without spoiling it, but there are a few things I can mention. For one, I felt that most all of the characters were not that well-written except for the two little girls. The other characters either seemed like they would be cool but ultimately were left out of the movie or had potential and were poorly paced. As I said though, the girls had a really interesting story. Also, they were probably the best child actresses I have ever seen in a movie. They were phenomenal.

Without giving anything away, I will also just say that I think the director could not really decide what kind of movie he wanted to make. It kept trying to be a horror movie, but I think what he really wanted to make was more of a dark fairy tale.

That is my two cents on this movie. I wish I would have rented it instead of gone to the theater, and I was ultimately disappointed. The acting and story of the two girls made it more worthwhile, though. I'd rate it 6/10 frogs from Qu's Marsh

    silent hill: revelations
an enjoyable movie, for those who want to see a horror without too heavy scary moments.

i personaly would have liked to see more of Allesa herself
the plot was a bit shallow

Just saw Django Unchained. Pretty entertaining movie, but doesn't have any other value. Except maybe for relieving white guilt for those who are in need of that kinda thing.

Actually did some more thinking about and realized there's plenty that could be said about racist ideology in the film

This twenty-year-old boy was distinguished from childhood by strange qualities, a dreamer and an eccentric. A girl fell in love with him, and he went and sold her to a brothel...

    Zero Dark Thirty

    5/10

The whole entire film was pretty droll. The exciting part, which was the inevitable end of them killing Osama Bin Laden was a huge letdown. Without giving too much away, I will just say this: my friend and I thought a better ending to this troll of an ending would be for them to switch to stop motion animation or gameplay of Halo 3. If you're going to be a troll movie mine was well do it all the way!

Jessica Chastain's character was fairly emotionless up until the very end where she cried, and to be honest who the smurf cares? That wasn't even the most relieving cry I've seen in a film. She ain't gonna win. The torture scenes were not as shocking as everyone says they are. Watch Audition or something if you really want to be shocked by torture. This film was a film about a woman in a powerful position not seen as powerful; so basically it's a story sort of about Kathryn Bigelow in a not so subtle way. I only wish it were a lot more thrilling like The Hurt Locker was. Admittedly, that film had to grow of me, and maybe some day this one will too...nah.

I'll be updating this with reviews of Argo and Silver Linings Playbook after I receive those FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION screeners.
