Just got back from watching it and let's just say...it was smurfing awesome!

First off, the dialogue is vintage Quentin Tarantino. The characters are likable, the plot is standard - but interesting nonetheless. Brad's character is stock, but again likable. It is the German Hans ( I think that's it) that steals my heart. He's a narcissistic asshole that is so enjoyable to watch on screen.

What I like about Qt is his insane and violent way of portraying humankind on screen. Inglorious Bastards is definitely worthy of calling itself a Qt film!

You can't compare them dude. Each film is different in it's own way. Dogs and Pulp are vintage, Bill, Death Proof, True Romance (of which I haven't seen) are different . They're good though, if you love QT, you'll like it.

I don't get the hate for Death Proof. I thought it was a better film than Planet Terror.

Going to see this film on Sunday, can't wait.

Inglorious Basterds was over-the-top brutal with a twisted sense of a humor and an engaging story. It was basically everything I've come to expect from a QT movie. I loved it.

Best movie I've seen this summer. Easily. Quentin Tarantino never takes himself seriously and it's awesome.

Just saw it- flipping awesome! And pretty tragic if you ask me. And Pitt's character was my favorite just for being so damn funny at the worst times. But obviously, Waltz's character blew me away in the first 5 minutes of the movie.

Saw it last night. Hardly a "perfect film" but good nonetheless. The opening scene was the highlight of the film in my opinion. The film kind of dragged in the middle but easily redeemed itself in the last act. Christoph Waltz was brilliant.

My toes were curled during the entire opening scene. It was tense!

The climax of the movie may very well make you climax yourself. It was glorious.

Yeah I know. It seems most of the movies he's in he plays a character from the South. Needs moar variety. I still haven't seen this film yet, but hopefully I'll catch it next week. The reviews have been good so far.

I saw it and despite having to sit in the second row because the theater was packed, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not that big a fan of Tarantino (Reservoir Dogs is the only other movie I've actually enjoyed) but he did a pretty good job on this.

My only complaint would be that the climax dragged on longer than necessary. The violence didn't need to last as long as it did and the movie could've focused elsewhere during that time.
