Generally which do you prefer? (By ending theme I mean the song used for the final scene and credit theme is the one that runs while the credits roll)

I notice that many games either have a brilliant end theme and mediocre credit theme or a brilliant credit theme and then i cant even remember the end theme. FFVI had a brilliant end theme but the credit them just used a reprise of the airship theme (aside from the "Prologue") which gets abit annoying considering the length. VIII had a brilliant rendition of eyes on me for the end but the credit theme was rather bland (also aside from the prologue). FFX and X-2 had marvelous credit themes but I cant remeber what they used for end themes (if any), Same with metal gear solid.

Overall I have to say I prefer a strong ending theme to get my tear ducts running but I really need a good end theme to get a feel of completion
