    I've always considered Final Fantasy IX's OST to be Uematsu's magnum opus. That being said, I also adore the music of VI which comes in close 2nd. VI is my absolute favorite game overall of the series and I hold all of it's aspects in high regard, but I can wholeheartedly admit that IX's OST is superior.
