Default 360 version at least 3 discs

So as we all know, the PS3 game discs can hold a lot more information. Because Square is releasing this on the 360 as well, they're saying it will be AT LEAST 3 discs.

I doubt it'll be more than 3-4 discs. It'll actually be kind of nostalgic, having to switch discs again.

Well, as long as they don't mess up like tri-Ace and make us go LoD disc swapping later in the game anyway...*shudder*

    Chocobo Agreed

id love that Nostalglic feel of changing the Disk, reminds me of FFVII. Ah those were the days...

Why can't they do that with the PS3 just for the hell of it. Then again probably not, they won't do that.

It would have been neat having the japanese audio. Gives me something different to do when I'm playing through it for the billionth time.

I love the nostalgic feel of inconvenience too. >:o

Actually, I don't care. I guess it is kind of exciting starting a new disc. Like "o I'm on disc 3 go me!"

I don't really care, but as Shlup said it's kind of cool to have that physical sign of your progress in a game. It's like playing on the PS1 again.

Lost Odyssey is four, and it's fine. I don't see any need for alarm.

Not to sound like your stereotypical Sony fanboy but something tells me this game is not going to be as good as it could of been due to SE not exclusively taking advantage of the PlayStation 3's power.

Bah, whatever. I'll still probably buy this game.

I always find it feels much more epic when after a large event happens the screen fades out and you are greeted with a 'change disk' prompt. It is (to me) a way to break up the narrative structure into discernible pieces that (hopefully) increase your interest as you move along.

Aside from a potential loss of graphical power, and being able to put it on one disc, what can the PS3 do that the 360 actually can't?

They (at last I heard) weren't allowed to develop games for the 360 that required hard drives. Since it was an optional package all games must only have the option to use the HD, not a requirement.

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but it is the first thing that came to mind.
