i might go see a movie this weekend

I have been so busy at work that i haven't had a chance to go see a movie. There are a few I want to see, but I can probably only go to one. Here are the choices at the only theater in town (minus the ones I know I don't want to see):

Final Destination
Inglorious Basterds
District 9
The Goods
Halloween II
Taking Woodstock
Post Grad
GI Joe
Time Traveler's Wife
The Proposal
some other crap I don't want to go see

So WHICH ONE?

You cannot go wrong with Inglorious Basterds assuming over-the-top, violent genre meshes are your bag. That's the only one on the list I've actually seen; District 9 is supposed to be pretty win, though!

yea, I love Tarantino so I am leaning toward the Basterds. but maybe something else is better?

Well, inglorious basters is glorious, so can't go wrong with that. I've already seen that though, so the movie that appeals most to me on your list is Final Destination. :o Curse Norway for not getting it on cinema! Now I have to wait for it to get on DVD sometime early 2010, unless I break the law in a "you wouldn't steal a handbag" kind of way.

It is well beyond worth seeing and certainly the second best choice on that list—the first being Inglourious Basterds, of course. None of the other choices even come close.

Inglourious Basterds, District 9, Time Traveler's Wife, and The Goods are all good. You can't go wrong with seeing any of them. Personally, I'd go with District 9, but I'm not as big a Tarantino fan as most people.
