It's coming out for the 360 at the end of the month and by jove I think it'll be rather epic.

Anyway I'm mostly making a thread in advance so we can organise Firefight (if you don't know what that is, think Gears' Horde) and campaign co-op (4-player I believe) sessions. So hopefully any EoFFers who don't know about it or who are on the fence about it will think about getting it.

It will also come with all the Halo maps free, plus three new ones for free. And if you pre-order it, you'll also get into the Beta for Halo: Reach. You also don't need the original Halo 3 to play it! It's all good!

It's probably better described as a prequal, and a full game the an expansion pack.

Though from my understanding, it was initially intended to be DLC, and not a full game in and of itself, but I'm not a big fan of Halo and don't look much into it, so anything you hear from me should be taken with a grain of salt on this subject.

I will be buying this game. I'm looking forward to the whole "work as a team thing to take down enemies that can kick your ass" thing. Makes a difference to the "I. AM. SPARTAN!" attitude in the MC games.

God no. I've done Legendary on 3 two or three times now and I can safely say that if I did that as my first playthrough, I would hate the game.

That is the best trailer I have ever seen. It filled me with many emotions - wonder, intrigue, fear, excitement, sorrow. It was also very badass. I was originally going to pass over this game to save money, but I don't think that is an option any longer.

Note: I haven't actually seen a lot of trailers. But this one was pretty awesome.

Yes!

That trailer is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I wasn't planning on pre-ordering it but seeing that and hearing what that includes (I was as surprised as Milf), I think I would be a fool not to.

And yeah Legendary in 3 is actually like, hard. I can do it in 1 with my eyes closed, but 2 and 3 are another story.
