Did they even include ANY FFIX characters... don't think they did. Shame, they should also bring along the Onion Knight from I think III (Or is it II? Mmm)
Nomura was less inclined to include IX's characters because he wasn't involved in the production of that game. Other staff members persuaded him to put Vivi in KH2 as he was seen as the most popular of the IX cast.

I think Salamander is probably the next most likely to be included. Though as Denmark has pointed out, it's unlikely they would include any of them, as Nomura wasn't involved in IX.

Anyway, If you say KH ruins past FF characters, Ive got a solution.
Put people in who were already ruined! Vaan And Penelo from FFXII jumps into my mind.

Fetish is an understatement. If there are no zippers buckles or or belts or all three on his designs then Nomura melts.
If he doesn't try to redesign them then having Tantalus randomly sailing between worlds on the Prima Vista having wacky adventures would be pretty cool.
I would love more FFIX characters, but I don't want Nomura to butcher their designs...
