I'm not sure. One minute, I'm hearing it's in June, the next it's three months earlier, in late March.

For America And Europe: Spring 2010. Exact Date Not Yet Confirmed.

read the japanese master is done and they're putting the finishing touches on the international versions. Hopefully sooner as opposed to later.
Most news I've read says the game will be released before the end of the fiscal year internationally, which at the latest would be April but most presume it will be March and a few optimist are hoping for February.

Glad to see that its being simultaniously released in NA and EU. I hate having to import games. And March 9th is actually sooner than I expected. Good job SE.

March 9th is definitely sooner than I expected. That may be early enough for me to buy it when it comes out and play it before I get too busy preparing for exams.

Thats a pretty good date, I was a bit worried they might try to pull a FFX and somehow magically get the game to ship for the holidays. March is a very good date since chances are it won't be in direct competition with any big titles and will give gamers something to look forward to in the seasonal slump.
Now I just have to decide if I care enough to actually purchase a PS3 or 360 by then.

For the European release, they could have written the date the correct way round
PS3 already bought in anticipation! (I know it'll be out on the 360 as well, which I have, but I want to be able to hear it - that and play the spinoffs)
It'd better be good again this time! Sounds like a clone of VII so it could either come off as over-milking or be awesome.
I'm curious if this is going to be a sticked date or a pushed. I don't think they really have a need for the date to be changed, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.
