I don't necessarily agree with the concept of these award shows to begin with, they enforce that American Dream aspect that competition is necessary and that you need to win to be respected, while all those nominated (or even not nominated for that matter) should feel proud of any work they achieve.

That being said, Kanye West is indeed a tool. Taylor Swift was obviously basking in a moment that was of great significance to her, and this dolt has to redirect the spotlight to himself and ruin it.
