    J = pi/32*d^4 if you use diameter as the basis of a compatibility equation. Also, 32 is 2^5, which is a vital number in computer science.

    If you were allowed to rearange the digits 7 + 8!/7! + 9 = 24. We played the same game on trains (our train carriages conveniently have 4 digits identifications) so we had some pretty messed up functions towards the end of highschool.

    27 is 3^3
    Awesome! I never thought of using factorials! (then again, we didn't exactly know about them in 5th grade xD)

    that's funny about the trains, too xD

    Post 33 is a lonely one; it is comprised of two prime numbers, 3 and 11, who are both very sad themselves. Won't you be friends with 3, and 11?

    33 is also the climax of 4' 33"

    Why are we doing every post number -1??

    Thirty-four is my favorite number squared times two plus two.

    You aren't allowed to use factorials, because they aren't operations. 24 only lets you use operations; furthermore, they represent other numbers, anyways, and you can only use the numbers as stated on the card itself. It's not possible to do 7/7/8/9.

    Thirty-five minutes is the length of the album I listened to today.

    36 is pretty dang awesome because it is 6*6 but also 12*3 and 4*9 and 2*18. SO MANY FACTORS.

    Shlup, it's the number of the reply, I believe.

    Well, maybe it wasn't two sevens. I only remember that there was 7, 8, and 9, and then one more that was either 7 8 or 9. Maybe it was 7, 8, 8, 9

    anyways, factorial is an operation, because you can define an operation to be whatever you like Anyways, they're convenient for taylor series

    7/8/8/9 --> 9-7 = 2. 2/8/8 --> 2*8 = 16. 16/8 --> 16+8=24. While I don't deny that they're convenient for Taylor Series (actually, they're essential for the sake of mathematical sanity), you can't use them in 24 anyways.

    37 is pretty awesome, because it used to be one of the numbers for the first lock that used to lock my locker with in high school. I remembered the numbers easily, because both of the locks that I used had all of the required three numbers add up to a grand total of 50.

    The way we played it was to we couldnt use any function on a scientific calculator that wasnt dependant on other numbers (we could us log but we had to use one of our stated numbers as the base) the Combinations and Permutations key was useful occasionally. Powers were also fun and occasionally mean was helpful If we could help it we kept to +-*/^ but sometimes the situation called for drastic functions

    40 is a well known number of winks though i personally prefer to say 20 blinks
