gotta be honest, not entirely sure why "The Shoeless Hobo" is supposed to be the greatest username in the history of EoFF or anything, it's kind of medicore imho. And that is what it comes down to really, my opinion, and all of our opinions. Everyone is so happy to jump on the "waah waah my favourite name didn't go through, it must be a popularity contest boohoo" bandwagon, toughen up ****'s, my favourite name wasn't even in the competition to start with until someone sacrificed themselves for it and now it's made it to the finals. So there's more than one person that enjoys that name. People have different opinions, it's clearly not all down to being a popularity contest otherwise Paul would win every year and Proto would be out in the first round ( Geoff), deal with it or GAGF, just stop whinging

I don't know, you know. Psychotic is a better name than TheAbominatrix so it was clearly popularity hax on her part to beat me in Round 1!

ps: I voted Proto and Red Pill in every round that I voted in (apart from this one), and I don't care who knows it. I vote because I like the names. Sorry if you don't like my opinion, but come on guys.

It's a competition, despite how much anyone whines the votes are the votes. If more people have a problem with it than the name was voted for then well, god dammit they should have voted for their faved name.

Go ahead and preach your piece. But don't think for an instant that in a competition that the finalists or the winner will be accepted by all. That's the whole reason there are votes, for a majority.

People complain, it's all they can do if they didn't like the outcome. Unless one of them makes a time machine and goes back in time to swing the votes to their candidates favor! But if that was the case I doubt they'd use their time machine to do that simple silly little task. I would play Go-fish with lincoln before I try to swing some votes in an internet name competition.

nowhere did I say the names in the final should be accepted by all, but coming steaming into the thread with "urrr, this name is crap, why is it even here, the name *I* like was sooo much better, wow this competition is clearly being fixed/voted on popularity and nothing else" is pure disrespect and failridden behaviour, shows a complete lack of class and grace for the people that have actually been voted for and advanced into the tournament on the back of their names. if you don't like having it pointed out to you when you're being a **** then don't be a **** quite frankly. there is a difference between complaining that your favourite name went out and you're upset and posting in the thread with the sole purpose of whinging that people only got through because of a popularity contest. Some of the name I liked were out at the first round. I think both these names are really good, and either has a good chance of winning.

I missed the drama bombs; how upsetting! Never am I oft pleased by the group's choice of king, but that is the nature of team co-operation; a good compromise should leave everyone bitter! Anyways, names beat up names and names move on and if we matched up names differently maybe some different names would have made it and we would have different finalists, but hey, this is a tournament! Contestants get eliminated and sometimes the pairings are not ideal for some, but we shall have a champion!

People complain and whine about things all the time when they don't get what they wanted. I call it being a spoilt brat really if you're so used to getting your own way that you can't accept that it doesn't always go the way you wanted it to then you need to 1) grow up, 2) get a good taste of what life is really like and 3) learn to accept the fact that life is full of crap and sometimes the crap lands on you. If everyone was acting as spoilt as this in the real world then the world simply wouldn't work at all. I'm with Dan on this; quit your whining you've had a chance to vote and it didn't go your way, learn to face facts if you voted for someone/something and the majority says your vote option sucked then well it aint going to happen is it? And for the record I haven't voted in this no, I've not been on EoFF properly since my laptop broke 10 weeks ago, I don't like typing on the girlfriends laptop I've kept up on things more by XBL (anyone doubting this can check with proto also, I'm sure seeing as my gamer score leapt like 2000 points recently you can all see what I've been killing time with) however because Proto asked for more votes I will PUBLICLY state my vote:

Proto, chalk me up for I took the red pill, Agent Proto is a decent name, don't get me wrong however I don't think it beats I took the red pill since I took the red pill is a good reference to a great movie imho.

I voted for Red Pill, but there's no bias there. I just think it's a better name.
