Going to a Flyleaf-Three Days Grace-Breaking Benjamin concert tonight at Mohegan Sun. It's going to be badass.

What was the last concert you went to?

The only major concert I've ever been to was Tool in San Antonio last summer. It would have been so awesome if we didn't have these bad seats and my parents weren't total retards xD

We were on the very very top row aaaallll the way to the left. We couldn't see a damned thing. But I was like, "well okay, it's a concert, it's about THE MUSIC~" but it wasn't very clear. I think that may have just been a general issue with indoor concerts made slightly worse by our location. I was only really disappointed when they played Hooker with a Penis and Aenima and I couldn't hear the lyrics.

My parents were a tad embarrassing. My mom stayed in the lobby because when we got to our seats, the rows were very steep and the space between them very narrow and littered with trash. It was pretty dangerous looking, and she already had a fear of heights. They have always been super big Tool fans (OGT, even!), especially my mom (so she was mega bummed about the seats). Usually when we're at some sort of show or event, they will not clap or stand or participate in any form because they think it makes them look dumb, I guess. But during the concert my dad was dancing, or trying to, and it was awful. He looked like a child trying a hula hoop for the first time xD

    But I got a cool T-Shirt :</>D!

My last concert I went to see the Flaming Lips at the Greek theatre in L.A. Easily the best concert I have ever been too; best show, best people, most fun I have had at a concert. Part of this was because I was chosen to dance on stage with the band! I got to wear an Emma Frost costume with a yeti hat. Wooo!

We haven't been able to afford to go to many lately, but I did find my old list of shows/concerts I've been to, and it's well over 100,

Saw Radiohead twice and they were AMAZING. Also, Japanese band Polysics! With FL, my top three.

Jay Chou in his first trip down under. He's easily my favourite Chinese artist and I wish he'd finish up that Green Hornet film with Seth Rogan so he can release his next album already.

That just sounds like torture to me. Best gig I been to was Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip in Stiff Kitten in February last year. Blew me away.

John Mayer was fabulous yesterday. He's such a great guitarist. He really enjoys being on stage and giving all he's got to the crowd.

    to Mark Knopfler

The last concert I attended was John Gorka, in December. It was a very intimate show, and a lot of fun.

    They are indeed amazing!

The most recent concert I went to was Utada Hikaru's In the Flesh tour in the States. She performed a long list of old and new songs; she even performed some songs in Japanese. She of course also did her popular video game songs. She did "Simple and Clean" and "Passion/Sanctuary". First verse was English and then the second was the Japanese version. It was loads of fun and worth waiting on that annoyingly slow line out in the cold.
