Hey, Pisanos! Today, <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/10/14/obit.albano/index.html">we've lost a superstar</a>. Some may remember him as the goofy Mario in the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w2fi_f5OLY">Super Mario Bros. Super Show</a>, some may remember him as wrestler <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRuKkWXru5Q">Captain Lou</a>. I have just found out that Captain Lou Albano had just recently died today at the age of 76.

I loved those live action segments in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. They were so intentionally cheesy. I liked the fact that Lou seemed to really get into character in those scenes.

I'm a huge wrestling fan so Captain Lou is a big loss, he was one of the best managers in the history of the business

I only figured out today that he was Super Mario on the old cartoon show today this disturbed me slightly!
