Title for Story

There was this short story I read a while ago in middle school, but unfortunately I don't remember the name or the author. The story goes something like this: a man checks into a creepy hotel or rent part of a room that an elderly woman owns by herself. She is widowed if I can recall correctly and apparently it has some insinuations of her preserving her husband with taxidermy or something. They sit down and have tea and the guy thinks everything is okay and suddenly realizes she's insane. Does anyone know what story this could be? Title is necessary, but the author would be good too.
