Not every movie is meant to be a masterpiece of cinema that makes you think.

Lots of movies are just mindless entertainment, stop being so pretentious.

First, what does noticing a plot hole have to do with pretentiousness?

Second, you completely misunderstood what I said, which was that I can't help but notice plot holes, because I actually pay attention when I'm watching a movie. Little stuff I can ignore, like a single guy in a movie that's wearing a wedding ring, but when the whole plot doesn't make sense, then what's the point of watching it? Sorry if I don't gasp in awe everytime something goes boom on screen.

Example: Terminator 4. I really wanted to like that movie too ;/
