Cherry blossom massacre.
Walking from Ueno to Akihabara I found some carrots that look like they're straight out of a smurfing cartoon. I was so excited.
Your umbrella looks lacy, like the ones all of the cute east asian international students had in Reading University. I WANT ONE TOO.

Aww, I miss squat toilets and cherry blossoms. Also, the park in Ueno is quite nice.. did you go to the Tokyo National Museum there?

I'm jealous of your trip to Ueno Park. We went hoping to see the cherry blossoms but it was a cold winter and they bloomed a week after our trip.
Most of the blossoms had already fallen off, so it wasn't too impressive. I suppose I was satisfied though.
We didn't go to any museums, not even Ghibli's, which was a bit sad, but our trip was already full and it was a bit too far out of the way. Ghibli Museum and Sanrio land are on my to do list for next time.
