Thaw one chicken breast in the microwave~3 minutes
cut up as much asparagus as will fit around the chicken in a glass oven dish.
place chicken, all its juices, and asparagus in glass oven dish
season (I used italian seasoning, celery salt, and lemon juice)
cook covered at 375F ~16-20 minutes
the rest of the asparagus put into a pot with just enough water for them to float and boil until soft. lemon, butter, whatevs.
OMG IT WAS SO GOOD.
I luuuurve asparagus, I usually have it sautéed in butter with broccolini, and funnily enough use it as a side with most chicken dishes. But I put chilli and various other spicy marinades on my chicken.
Also, that cat looks like it's just biding its time.
@rubah's din din mmm yes, so delicious. That's an ideal meal for me right there. A few days ago I tried asparagus for the second time ever and it was amazing. When cooked properly it can be one of the best, crisp veggies in the world, but when cooked wrong it can be oily, soggy, and disgusting. Luckily it wasn't the later.
