On the whole, I prefer the original versions to the remixed versions, so I don't mind all of the old stuff, but the music could use a redo. For one thing, make the map music usable in battle. Terra's theme and To Zanarkand are too dang beautiful to leave on just the map. Other than that, just more music in general.

Re-balance the cast.

Golbez - Needs to be nerfed, at least make his attacks completely negated by blocking the first part. His laser attack (where he punches you and creates several beams of laser immediately behind you) is almost completely unblockable since you can block the punch but the lasers will still hit you since they appear above you. My friends Golbez ghost spams this move relentlessly. Not to mention that trying to dodge the move is really tricky and sometimes you find yourself dodging into the lasers due to the funky targeting system. Hell, half the time I find myself dodging into his secondary attack. So yeah, he needs to be nerfed...
His problem is much the same as Jecht's. His attacks are combos that will target you even if part of the attack fails. If the punch is dodged or blocked, cancel the stupid laser, because it does let him spam cast mercilessly.

Jecht - The speed of his attacks combined with his funky auto-targeting makes this guy unnecessarily brutal. He needs to be nerfed. I'm tired of having him above me (or below me) and having him be able to instantly teleport in front of me to do his combos because I happened to be in his "sphere of targeting influence" despite the gap in distance between us both telling me that its logically impossible for him to do that. I know the linearity of his attacks as well as being almost completely close range should justify this oversight but I really don't feel it does cause he has the opposite problem of Golbez. Instead of being unable to block his attacks, its almost impossible to dodge them. You can dodge but he just homes in on you while your character returns to a neutral stance. To be fair, Squall also has this problem but unlike Squall, Jecht seems to be able to pull this off with his HP attacks as well...
Jecht's major problem is that all his attacks are long combos that track continuously. Even if you dodge the first bit, his moves like Jecht Blade will continue to combo across the screen, hitting air, but closing in on you all the time. Which, since there is a slight delay between when you end one dodge and when you can start the next, means he can catch up with you and pummel you even if you dodge. Either make his moves fail if the first bit hits, or make them stop tracking you.
