Final Fantasy Gaiden NOT coming to US?

Final Fantasy Gaiden has been out in JP for a while now . . . but there still has been NO news whatsoever about it coming to the US. This is the only game that has the FF title on it that I've been at all excited about the past year . . . and we're not even going to get it over here? Lame!

Besides, it's Final Fantasy. I have a hard time believing it won't get localized here, but these things obviously take time. Chill out or import the game.

Usually by now we would have heard SOMETHING about a NA release. Even if it is just TBA. Nothing at all on IGN or the like . . .

I'm bummed, since this is pretty much the ONLY FF game I've been excited about since FFIV:TAY (yes, I have atypical FF tastes).

Momiji's right. The Japanese usually have their games released first in their country.

...though I am curious about the lack of leaked info about this game. We don't even know the names of the four main characters. Oh well, all in good time. Seeing how this game isn't as anticipated as games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it's expected that there won't be Japanese-fluent gamers revealing as much as they can about this game. That was the case for Dragon Quest V for DS (though at least Dragon Quest 5 revealed the characters names).

I hate to talk sales, but I think this game did really poorly in Japan. I don't know if we're gonna get it or not.

I think an even clearer sign it might not come here is that SE has advertisements for Front Mission EVOLVED (the third person shooter) at the English website and that game is not even out in Japan yet.
