So last week, road crew put up two new street signs on either side of the duplex. Since then, I've recieved more mail for '793 Breeze Cove' than my actual address. It's actually made me slightly paranoid that perhaps my address is different now! I guess as long as I get whatever is delivered to me, then it's not a problem.

except someone actually wrote in '793' on an envelop that had previously been addressed properly.

So I'm trying to decide what agency I can go to to verify my address xD city government site and usps have both been unhelpful :]

Normally they'd give you some sort of notification by mail in advance when they do that sort of stuff.

That's what I was thinking. I'd put it down to just a 'best-guess' routing for mistaken addresses if they hadn't actually written the number on the envelope :X

Well we always get the wrong mail we got 262/8 when we are 268/8 so a simple mistake, but I hope everythign works out for you. Go to your local council or town hall or whatever you call it over there!

You should contact whatever agency handles your state's 911 addressing systems (it might also be handled at a local/county level). Your local Department of Transportation would probably know.
