I don't think it's too "crime-y", but Monk is a lot of fun. It's about an ex-detective (Monk) helping the police solve crimes, but the show focuses more on the quirks of Monk than the crime portion. It's always a good time.
Both Monk and Psych are enjoyable things to watch whenever you need a filler hour.
It's awesome! Dark humour is the best kind.
I have mainly been following mini-series on youtube lately, but I'll mention them anyways.
The Mole, The Mole UK, The Mole AUS. They're all big whodunits with awesome and adventurous tasks on the side. The perfect reality show. 3rd and 4th Aus version and the 2nd UK version are especially great and can all be found on youtube.
Murder in small town X. You'd probably hate it, but you told me to list what I'm following so here it isBasically another whodunit reality, but with the contestants interacting with a murder mystery. Can also be found on Youtube.
and then there's Harper's Island, which is (yes, you guessed it) another whodunit. This is a mini series in 14 40 minute long episodes. There's 25 characters, you are told at the beginning that one of them is the murderer, and at least one dies in every episode. It's great fun to try to figure out who it is. The ending was a bit sucky and a bit far fetched imo, but it was an awesome show up to the end.
Scream Queens. DON'T JUDGE ME! This show was so god damn funny. 10 actresses fight for a part in Saw VI. There's so much horrible acting in this show and it just makes it all the more hilarious. Srsly, just check out the first episode on youtube.
Other than that I haven't been following any new shows, I'm busy catching up on Seinfeld. up until this summer I hadn't seen more than 5 episodes of it.
Go for the original vamp show. Much better than the twilight crap, BUFFY! It's pretty damn funny too. It's got demons and such all throughout it and a kickass witty lead female character ^_^
I didn't realize there were so many cliche'd vampire things out. Vampires were never meant to be trendy. Sad
I think I only saw one person mention BonesI love Bones
I'd recommend Eureka. Its very cheesey and sci-fi'ish but I think it might be cancelled, or already was. I know some of their actors were going to other shows. But I enjoyed the first few seasons I downloaded
And everyone can enjoy The Big Bang Theory. I've downloaded every episode. And enjoy having a marathon of re-runs from time to time
David Boreanaz is on Bones. He was on Buffy firstYay joss whedon! ^_^
Big bang theory is love. I just recently discovered it. Try it, it's funny. I was just laughing to a new episode. And everyone can enjoy The Big Bang Theory. I've downloaded every episode. And enjoy having a marathon of re-runs from time to time
@BooB: Based purely on your addiction to Lost I'll second the recommendations for Flashforward and V. The first is already as addictive as Lost is for me, and V looks like it'll get there quickly.
We watched the pilot episodes of the X-Files (great) and Inbetweeners (also great) last night, and hope to watch a couple more tonight while we download more X-Files. I've probably only seen half of the X-Files episodes, if that, before now.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
The X-Files is great. I'd also recommend Fringe if you like The X-Files; they're similar shows, only Fringe is much trippier. Plus, Abrams.
