- Leo refused Magitech infusion but was killed by a Magitech Knight

No tears from allies can be found.

- The empire certainly didn't bury him...

A moment left, a tragedy met,

- Leo left the base camp that gave Kefka the opportunity to poison Doma

a guilty past, kind words at last

- He confesses he felt guilty about knowing what the empire did to Terra and then gives her advice.

love and hate, consume his fate

- Leo is loved by the Empire but hated by Kefka who is jealous/

Devil's tongue word's became forewarn.

The last passage is a reference to the fact that before the whole "Resurrect Aerith" rumor the biggest time waster rumor in the series was trying to resurrect Leo. Which is impossible without a hacked game.

Aside from the "no tears from allies" line that I couldn't figure out, and the last stanza (I never heard of those rumors), I had most of my reasoning right

I haven't even finished this game, so I'll just do a really easy one so I don't mess up.
