I have the hots for that asian guy from the first one, so unless he plays a bigger role in this movie...!

On a serious note I'm going to watch it tomorrow because well any excuse to go on a date with a girl right? And I don't hate Twilight that much, it's funny if you don't take it seriously at all

They see me rolling. They hating, patrolling.

He actually has the one of the few intentionally humorous scene in the film.

But I think he actually gets less screen time in this one, and has maybe...three lines total.

You know he's the best for Bella, being normal and whatnot. If I honestly cared enough I would create a Team Asianguywhoisbetterthaneveryoneelseinthewholeoftwilight thing.

Yeah but he's going out with Angela and they make a cute couple. Asian (Ben, I think his name is) and Mike are just creepy, especially after hearing what they're thinking in Midnight Sun.

His name is Erick. Though the book-only character Ben is also merged with him.

Oh come on. Sparkly vampires and a book which consists of 'I like Mr Wickham' 'Oh he's nice, I like Mr Darcy' 'Oh dear' The End

Although both are superficially similar, about a woman torn between a good man and a bad man, I have a lot more emotional investment in Elizabeth and Darcy because they learn from their mistakes. Bella and Edward are basket cases, and I don't hold out much hope that they will improve in the sequels.

Comparing Pride and Prejudice to Twilight is like comparing nectar and ambrosia to vomit. And I love it when people summarise a book in a sentence as if to mock it, as if this can't be done with pretty much any book ever.

Pride and Prejudice sucked. The only reason it is popular is because it appeals to the exact same crowd that gobbles up the horse that Twilight is. If you're going to defend a "classic" then defend it, don't attempt to refute personal opinions with blanket statements.

Since the original poster simply said it was crap and then made some lame 'I'll summarise the book in a few words ho ho' comment why should I make the effort to go into a detailed defence?
