And then after TPS there have been MANY bands in the same vein BEFORE Owl City. (Rocket Me Nowhere, HeyHiHello! Mixtape Metro, even Frou Frou and Imogen Heap and Guy Sigworth to a degree). If anything, Owl City is just riding on all their coat tails.
