Two Apple Questions

1.) Can I create an iTunes account with a gift card code? Or do I have to use a credit card? In the past entering my card number has ended up with a random charge and spending hours on the phone getting it removed.

2.) The new iPod classic's system requirements include Win XP Service Pack 3. I have Service Pack 2. Will it matter? If it does, can someone please try and find a working link? I found one before but I believe I remember it being a page not found.

So it requires SP3, you've got SP3, and you wonder if it'll work?

Ah. That is a typo. I have SP2. My apologies.

Oh, right. I thought SP3 would be rolled out automatically. You do have automatic updates turned on, right?

Other than that, SP3 doesn't change a lot of stuff, it's basically just a few hotfixes (that'd you'd normally get one by one) bundled together, I would think it'd work fine. If not, it shouldn't be too hard to find SP3 anyway.
