    The Black Mages did the version in AC, too...

    The only difference in that live version is the guitar starts up earlier. Which I don't like because the AC versio starts identical to the Orchestra version (since..it is the Orchestra version) and then just kicks in after about 40 seconds with the metal awesomeness.

    Are you kidding me? The Black Mages version's solo during the whole "veni mi fili" sequence is far more awesome than the original one.

    The real question is 'Which is the best Version of Dancing Mad, the Black Mage version of the Fully Orchestrated version'.

    I have no Idea which one I'd pick. ;_;

    That's not the real question because OWA is better.

    My favorite OWA version is the one played live at Distant Worlds in Stockholm on December 4th, 2007:

    I think it's much more intense and "packs more punch" than other versions. It also sounds like they're playing it a bit faster than usual. The one on the Distant Worlds CD isn't as good - it's much "softer".
