Who would you hate to find out were your biological parents if you were adopted?

Also, what would you do if you were told that you were adopted? Personally, I'd leave so fast that no one would be able to tell me to stay!

As weird as it sounds, I've always sorta hoped that I was adopted. I find adoption strangely flattering. Some family picked you out of a bunch over the others!

I would be crushed if I found out I was adopted. I'm fond of my family.

Fortunately, there's no chance in hell that my parents aren't my parents.

Though, if I were adopted, I wouldn't really care if I had crappy parents. Not like I live with them. The only thing that would upset me would be if my biological parents turned out to be my in-laws. Groooosssssss.

I wouldn't care much either way. Blood-relation is meaningless in-and-of-itself. My parents are my parents because they raised me, took care of me, and were generally good to me. Not because they share some genes with me. If any blood-relation happened to be a really bad person, I would have no problem pushing them out of my life as much as possible.

For the same reason, I wouldn't give a crap if, in the adoption scenario, my biological parents turned out to be horrible people. Because they wouldn't really be my parents.
