Macros/memes are only worth posting if they are custom-made for the exact moment and still somehow witty on some random level. I remember I made some ages ago and one of them would be rather fitting for this thread (I think it was something like a picture of eestlinc with something to do with being back from absence... I forget). The 'Golden Age' one was probably the most used out of those. Or possibly the only used.

It's so bad because it is so overdone, and usually even just the same images repeated throughout the internet. I agree with Daniel that they can still have some value if they're more tailored to that specific incident, or have some other specific value.
