I was thinking about mafia the other day actually, and figured a return wouldn't work because old hands like Goldenboko and qwerty had gone. And lo and behold, the qwertster's back in town.

BTW, I never visited any message boards when I went missing. So I dun really have much idea how this is played so please guide me along everyone.

This is going to be fun.

The basic premise of the game is you can be for the town or against the town. The main force against the town have a super secret forum they use to talk to each other, and is called the mafia. Each day, everyone playing can discuss who they think might be in the mafia, with the actual mafia trying to pin suspicion on other people. This ends in a lynch by vote. at night there are various roles people can have. The big 3 are kill, inspect and protect. Kill roles kill the target. Protect blocks a kill. Inspect shows the user if the target is good or evil. The mafia also gets a kill each night that they decide on. After night, everyone who has an inspect role gets their results and the people who died at night are dead, then the day continues.

There are lots of variations and other roles as well, like the roleblocker who stops their target from using their night power if they have one, or Bomb who kills whoever killed them if they die. (either last vote or whoever night killed them.)

If you don't mind me setting up the roles, there are heaps of other stuff like secret forum/forums, flavours, and just keeping the game running while laughing our asses off and making endless votecounts. Take your pick(s)

Also I'll wait a little longer to see if we can pull a few extras in, but with the rush we've had we should be ready to start today!
