Thread: 15th Anniversary of Playstation

I really loved how the Playstation would come with Demo discs and how my friends and I would swap demo discs with one another just to try out new games.

Just some of my favorite titles:
    Budisho Blade
    Crash Bandicoot
    Grandia
    Intelligent Qube
    Medievil
    Metal Gear Solid
    Spyro The Dragon
    StarOcean 2
    Syphon Filter
    Twisted Metal 2
    Unholy War

I remember being obsessed with Armor Core and Alundra about 10 years ago but not to fond of them when I replayed them a couple years ago.

Oh man, I remember OPM. I had a subscription for a couple of years way back when. Yeah, the demo discs were pretty awesome.

PlayStation has robbed me of my life, and I've enjoyed every second of it. Well, almost every second.

    Word life.

I still play my old PS1 games on ePSXe far more than I play any other grimdark brown and bloom FPS on any of today's consoles. Resident Evil 1 <3

Goodness, I can't believe it's been that long already! Makes me feel old. I loved my PS1. It was definitely the best console I've ever owned. I remember spending hours on end having my friends over challenging them to a game of Bushido Blade 2. I used to drive my girlfriend, now wife, nuts as she would talk to me on the phone while I was playing FFVII. Just too many good times to count with the old console.

Playing Threads of Fate and FFVIII for the first time are probably my most significant gaming experiences. I think Tomb Raider II was my first PS1 game that I actually enjoyed.

Weeeell it's my favorite game, but it's half nostalgia. I was nine or so when I got it. It's easy and short are my main two problems. If you don't mind games that are "go here and here and here to get these items so we can do this and achieve our goal" types of games. You can play as Rue, who transforms into monsters he beats has a more serious story, or Mint, who users magic and has a much wider variety of attacks. Her story is pretty light-hearted, it's more of a parody of Rue's. Personally I prefer Mint.
