About the Ending (SPOILERS)

I know that if you don't have Locke, Setzer saves Celes during the ending. But what if you don't have Sabin? I can't imagine Setzer or Celes jumping in to save Edgar from the falling girder... Just wondering what happens, if anyone could tell me ^-^

I'm pretty sure there's no way around reacquiring Sabin at WoR, so he'll always be there for the ending, right?

No, you can skip Sabin. I've never beaten the game with less than 14 characters before so I can't answer your question.

Celes AND setzer jump in to hold the Girder i think. Why the lazy bitch terra didnt jump in with her esper strength to hold the Girder is anyone's guess.

Celes, Edgar and Setzer are the only required characters in the world of ruin, as such all scenes with other characters have variations that only use them, or are skipped entierly without the required characters.

I never not get any characters in the WOR portion of the game because it seems too depressing otherwise.
