Neglected blue mage untill now (have black chocobo)

So i have neglected using a blue mage untill now. I have decided that i need to level one and track down all the most usefull blue magic that I can possibly get at this stage in the game now that i have the black chocobo.

This is where i need your help guys.
what blue magic should i try and get and where do i go to and what do i fight to get those valuable blue magic moves.

Level 5 doom from Page 64 in the ancient library is one. You could have gotten Aero 3/Aeroga when escaping Karnak Castle, but that's too late now. Aquabreath from the chimera in the desert between karnak and the ancient library, but this thing is rather strong so be sure to save. Vampire or whatever it is in the GBA version from the bats in the first cave you enter in the game. Flamethrower and Missile from the mechanical things on the flying you know what when you get there.

Aero can also be gotten from the Moldwynds, or whatever they're called, in the Wind Shrine. Also, when you get to the Ronka Ruins, be sure to look out for Enchanted Fans. They know both Aera and White Wind, but you'll need to confuse them to get the latter. The dragons near the library know Transfusion, but that's not a very useful spell, so go out of your way to get it only if you're out for completion.

[EDIT] Note, too...ALL the "pages" in the Library know Blue Magic, as well.

I skipped the Aero/aera spells because they're about the same tier as your regular elemental nukes at that point in the game, while Aeroga is much stronger than those :p

GET WHITE WIND
It is an amazing spell for healing, especially late in the game.

There is one boss in the final dungeon that is a blue mage as well, he even can learn spells from you.

Blue Mages are worthless. Just don't use one. I never have in any FF game. No trouble at all.

You could finish several FFs without using a *ton* of jobs/characters, saying that blue mage is particularly useless is dumb, considering several blue mages definitely have a few very MP efficient spells.

Actually, Death Claw and L.5 Death alone are enough to make short work of a few particularly irritating bosses. So useless, they are not.
