Well, I just got done playing the demo (360 version) and I must say, I loved it! I'm going to try out the PS3 demo tomorrow just to see if I can notice the difference.
As someone who bought both versions and played them to death (because I was a silly person who just had to have Darth and Yoda, without realizing they were going to release both as DLC to the other console), I can safely say this is 100% completely and utterly untrue. The only real difference I see is, PS3's textures in SC4 are actually quite superior to the 360's, and the lighting is better on some stages (particularly the icy snowy one, and the one where you're on a moving raft), and even that difference is hardly noticeable.
