I love this lady. DO YOU?
My favorite album is Post. Though, 5 Years would be my favorite song.
I love this lady. DO YOU?
My favorite album is Post. Though, 5 Years would be my favorite song.
She's brilliant. My favourite records of hers are Homogenic and Vespertine. The latter is beautiful, it's a perfect winter album as well.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
I love Björk. She's one of my absolute favourites.
Lately, Isobel has been my favourite song of hers. It changes a lot, though.
She's one of the most talented and versatile artists I know of. Vespertine is my favourite album, but I consider it a summer album.![]()
I used to date a girl who was completely in love with everything Björk would do. She even looked a lot like her. I've never personally cared much for her but I guess she's pretty good or something. I mostly just wanted to say that I've dated a girl who looked like someone famous.
Of course I love her! I like debut and medulla and post and and lots of other things but yes Bjork wins the world. She's very smart and most of the things she says make absolute perfect sense to me as well.
She is not even human she is a brilliant little fairy come to make sense of our universe I swear![]()
Ouuuuuu~ I lied. Vespertine actually is my favorite record of hers. Followed by Post~~~~~ Pagan Poetry, It's Not Up to You, Undo, Unison, Harm of Will, Aurora ... oh so much goooooodness.
And yes, scrumpleberry, I appreciate her intelligence. And her politics. She CLAIMS not to be political, but I think chanting FREE TIBET after performing Declare Independence at a Chinese concert is pretttttty political >_>~~~~
I always really liked that song "It's Oh So Quiet" and the video for it just makes me feel so good and happy inside.![]()
oh i love her, though she is a bit nuts.
YouTube - bjork attack reporter !!!
She looks so pretty in her casket, I'm in love with a corpse!
Well it goes without saying that Bjork is nuts, but the best musicians usually are.
Has anyone seen Dancer in the Dark with her in it? I've heard it's good but pretty brutal.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Yes. It's very good, and quite brutal. I've sobbed every time I've seen it - and it might be one of the saddest movies I've ever seen.
Also, Björk is just brilliant in the movie, even though there was a lot of controversy concerning her not getting along with Lars von Trier. Watch it!
Björk has since disowned it. But yes, it's a pretty nice song.
Yeah well R.E.M. disowned Shiny Happy People and I like that too. Damn acts not liking the songs of theirs that stick out like a sore thumb XD
