Hannukah (spelled many ways that are all still correct) is a Jewish holiday that remembers a war fought to allow religious freedom a couple thousand years ago and the miracle of one days worth of oil lasting eight days. We spin dreidals and eat potato pancakes and doughnuts and light the menorah (nine branched) for eight nights, lighting an additional candle each night. It'ds a lot of fun and we also exchange gifts each night and sing songs.
