There is a handheld NES/SNES/NeoGeo/GBA/more emulator that sells for about $85. It is basically half a DS. The native emulators are not so good but some enterprising hackers have ported Linux to it and you can use SNES9X (comes with Dingux) with your existing ROMs quite flawlessly. I have been using it for six months and found it to be quite reliable. Currently Final Fantasy V runs quite well on it.
