I can't open my tube of Mentos gum! This is it, exactly, in this person's blog review: <a href="http://ebidebby.blogspot.com/2009/03/mentos-red-fruit-lime-gum.html" target="_blank">http://ebidebby.blogspot.com/2009/03/mentos-red-fruit-lime-gum.html</a>. It looks like I'm supposed to pull off a plastic strip that's located in the space below the lid (absent in the reviewer's pictures). That's what I first tried, though, and a side piece broke off.

I'm not strong enough to force the lid off, and I want my candy! Give me ideas.
