Distant Glory

Okay, so as we all know, you do Shade Impulse and fight Chaos, then all the hero's go to their respective worlds. My question is - where do the Distant Glories (and to a less extent, Inward Chaos) fit into the internal chronology? Are they even considered a part of the main story at all?

They're really not part of the main story, but they do have their own little stories in their playthroughs. They're really nothing more than extra characters that were added on.
