The whole point of EoFF is to read threads right. And there is nothing better than logging on and finding a goddamn epic thread. Except, of course, being a part of the epic thread. Now there was a time where epic threads were just threads that Cid had posted in. But now, with him off having a life and everything, threads have to be made of something truly special to be recognised. That’s where this award comes in. It recognises those threads that will live on inside our hearts forever, or at least until we get old and senile.
Let’s see what we’re dealing with this time. Okay.
First up, Psychotic’s Awesome Thread About Trumpets. The name itself contains the word awesome, so you’d have high hopes for it, right? It doesn’t disappoint. It’s like a flashback to the early days of EoFF, where all our staffers would have been snot-nosed brats with crude humour and saying smurf was the funniest thing in the world. I'm not sure they've matured much further than that, but there's still hope for them yet. Maybe.
What have I got next? Oh yeah, the EoFF Dwarf Fortress Time thread. I haven’t played Dwarf Fortress yet but if this thread is anything to go by, it’s probably addictive. Okay so I went and read some of the thread, and if you haven’t done so then you’re a really bad person. This is better than those Sims threads we have going on. It actually gets updated too, Shlup

Ahh, the most important thread ever on eoff. This is another fantastic display of how goddamn nerdy we all are. The man wants some weed, he just wants to get high. So, the fantastic members of EoFF tell him about the epic quest he must go on in order to find Bud. This thread deserves a read, if only for the strangely nostalgic feeling you get. I wonder if you get that same kind of feeling from Bud himself?
An Exhibition of Modern Art: Darkswordofchaos's fugue of melancholy. This is a thread commemorating Darkswordofchaos’ contribution to a thread about underwear. The original thread was pretty awesome in of itself, but this here monument will stand the test of time, forever showing the calibre of our members. Somebody get this guy a funniest member nomination or something. Btw did he end up finding what he was looking for? I think we sent him on too great a quest and he never returned
