36. Most Hardcore Gamer
Okay, now it's time to start blurring lines. Hardcore isn't just a statement of how skilled you are at a game. Any joe schmo can pick up a game, play it, learn it, and start dissecting it. However, it takes a true man to start spending as much time as possible to dedicate to a game. The term "hardcore" is awfully misued: it's not about skill. It's about time. Anyone who's truly played a game to the point of mastery can tell you that this is true, and let none of the naysayers oppose you.
Wolf Kanno
I heard he's really good at RPGs.
JKTrix
I heard he likes Japanese games.
Bolivar
I heard he likes arguing about games.
Leeza
I heard that she owns almost every system.
Necronopticus
I heard that he still plays Diablo II.
Yeargdribble
I heard that he has found a connection between terrorism and video games.
I'm my own MILF
I heard that he started worshipping them, sacrificing his firstborn son to the Almighty Random Numbers God. Or actual God. Who knows, these days?
But hardcore isn't a title you give to yourself, it's a title that others give you, simply because you're too busy doing something else, something presumably more important than listening to other people. Who's the most Hardcore Gamer here? We all know these nominees won't be telling themselves any time soon.
