Best Regular.
The Wee Young Chocobo Award! Gee, these people make me feel old! But I digress, before I pull a Raistlin! Let's talk about each one and why they're so nice and awesome; no one does that in awards enough anymore. Let's talk about why we're so glad they've stuck around long enough to become regulars.
Bunny – I remember when Bun-Bun first joined. Our favorite little crabby crab apple. I talked to him a lot on MSN (I should do that more) and we discussed things like teaching history and he would tell me stories about Mrs. Bun-Bun. Once he tricked me into thinking that he had an orgy with Mrs. Bun-Bun's little sister! Aaaah! He has a sweet side, not that he likes to show it! I'm glad that Bunny has stuck around so long.
Yar – Our favorite ginger! Yars is a really hard worker, working for his education! It's like a Lifetime movie or something! Seriously though, Yars is a really cool guy. He has a great spirit and that's why so many people go meet up with him. He must have met almost as many EoFFers as Paul has. He has a great taste in music and I'm proud to know someone who stands up for his gay pride by just living as an open gay man, regardless of what anyone thinks, without feeling so insecure as to push it everyone's face. Yars is a cool dude.
Demondude55 - Semendude! I remember when he first joined. I wasn't sure if he'd make to regular; I thought he'd get banned. But nope, he's stuck around, and we're glad for it. Though most well known for that poem down in the Writing Netherregion, he's also up in the General Chat forum. He's a friendly dude and brings a lot of enthusiasm to the forum, which is something we all need in these ages of jaded too cool for school.
Guardian XIII – I'm afraid I don't know Guardian XIII as well as I'd like to; I'm planning on fixing that! However, I know many people have taken notice of him in the forums. The other day I talked to a friend of mine about new regulars, and he came up in a conversation. We were talking about how nice he is and how he has a really good attitude and that we both admire and that we think that this Ciddies, that attitude will be rewarded. I hope it is!
Shattered Dreamer – Similar to Guardian XIII, I don't know Shattered Dreamer as well as I should! And also similarly, Shattered Dreamer came up in conversation with my friend, and we discussed how he's a really awesome dude (aren't there so many cool Irish members?) and that we're glad he stuck around, and that we hope these Ciddies reward him well. I personally hope that Shattered Dreamer gets more confident in how much of an asset he is to these forums. Like demondude, his enthusiasm does a lot to negate all of the jaded feelings that a lot of older members hold!
Nikki – Wow, the only female of this category! I remember when she first joined after Will, how everyone really took to her spirit. That underwear thread was so funny! You can tell that the forum was glad that her intertubes were fixed those few months ago, so that she could post so more. A fellow small font aficionado, she reminds me of a lot of older members when they were younger, sweet and jolly! Stay this way forever, Nikki. Keep on being active in the Event Committee, and keep posting pix.
Laddy – Oh Laddy! You can tell what a presence Laddy is when I had to think for a minute to figure out if he was a regular or a veteran. I've rarely encountered such an interesting character on the forums. This corgi-crazed hippie man has brought a lot of activity in the forums for quite a while, hosting lots of events and small games, so of course he is a deserving candidate for Best Regular. As confusing as his antics may be sometimes, we would never want him anywhere but here. Stay gold, Laddy-boy.
While all of these people deserve Best Regular in their own way, there can only be one award. Let us see...
All of those are great members though and I don't mind whoever wins.
