Oh, yes, I like it! I bet it'll look the business with the banner and icons. As an alternate I was thinking of that but with the colours reversed maybe. I may try experimenting in paint myself and see what it looks like!

There's a lot of white space in the top left but that's where whatever banner we have would go! I know a couple of bits of the background look a little patchy, but this is just a rough mock up, if it was to be the XIII skin someone could make it look a lot better than I have.
EDIT: Hmmm maybe that light pink is a bit too light. But you get the idea.
I like it! I don't know if pink is the best pick for the XIII skin though. Maybe it's better to pick a colour scheme with broader appeal? I'm working on something too, although I keep getting distracted.
Yeah I wondered if people would be turned off by the fact that it's pink too. But, I do dig the PS3 console!
EDIT: Oh just as Rye was asking earlier in the thread how to do this, what you do is you paste a screen into paint, then:
- Dropper tool. Left click the colour you want to replace, and use right click to select the colour you want to replace it with.
- Select Eraser. Hold down CTRL and press + on the numpad repeatedly until your eraser is gargantuan.
- Then hold down the right button and go over your entire picture with it. Ta-da. If you're replacing white, some of the forum smileys/icons may get a bit messed up but you can always copy and paste them back in!
It's actually really easy and can be done in like two minutes if you just want to change the colours.

I have an idea! Psychotic, you should make an announcement that asks members to post original FFXIII artwork or graphics (or even ideas) that they come up with in this thread or a new one! Since no new skins will be made until the next vbulletin upgrade, there would be plenty of time for people to make submissions.
You could also make a poll of color choices (for the color scheme) for people to vote on.
That's a good idea! Although with the announcement I may wait a week or two as I don't want to knock Shiny's Best of off the top spot.
I also think there are new icons for vB4.

Added little lightning for ultimate cheesiness. Considered making it blink, but that might have made the universe collapse from sheer lamosity. It's easily taken out. XD

It looks surprisingly adorable in an orange-creamy-peach sort of color. I think I might prefer this to the purple one, to be honest, but that's just me.
I changed it in color mixer so it's not quite right, but you get the idea of what it'd look like:
