Yes, Tavrobel, like that. It's the same with video games and movies; when you go to a movie theather, you have to show ID in order to watch an R-rated movie, and video game stores require you to show ID in order to obtain an M-rated game. The same should go for music.

But M-rated games and music with some profanity are hardly on the same level.

Why is there more of an argument over video game content than on musical content?

Because there's more content in M-Rated games to rot the minds of children (and pathetically impressionable 20somethings) such as blood, gore, sex, violence, and so on than just a few naughty words in what would normally be perfectly acceptable music, even in your eyes-- as you've proved by saying you like Linkin Park, even if there is minimal profanity in their most recent album.

I didn't get Minutes to Midnight, but I have Meteora and Hybrid Theory, and I also found their more recent songs on movie soundtracks, such as "What I've Done" on Transformers 1, "New Divide" on Transformers 2, and "Leave Out All the Rest" on Twilight. None of those three songs contain any profanity. I also liked "Shadow of the Day," which also did not contain profanity. The only three songs with profane lyrics were "Given Up," "Bleed it Out," and "Hands Held High"; the last of which was not released as a single.

Let's move this debate to the other thread I just created and get back to the original topic here. More oddball mashups coming soon!
