I agree. One of the things that comes to mind is the aggressive actions that Square Enix takes against Chrono Trigger projects like Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes and Chrono Trigger: Resurrection. If they had no interest in making another title, why would they protect this game over other titles with more active hacking communities like Final Fantasy Hacktics?
