I was whining about not being able to use the camera in 358/2 Days and then I actually gave Type B controls a try.

No kidding. I just started the game the other day and was so frustrated with the Type A controls that I didn't even want to play the game. Then the game was all 'oh hi you can use Type B controls you know the ones that actually work' and now I can play it much better and I'm not frustrated with it anymore ;D

Way back when on my 1st FFVIII play through I was on the part of disc one where you had to head to Galbadia Garden. Instead of getting off at the train station near the forest you have to go through to trigger the Laguna dream sequence, I stayed on the train until it stopped at Dollet! It took me about 2 hours to find the forest. Epic gamer fail!

I did something like that. Or I stopped at the right place but went in the completely wrong direction or something. Whatever I did I was lost for a good hour or two.

I got off at Dollet every time. The first time I ended up back at Timber looking for the forest, but then after that I figured out where I had to go
