PC. It gets the job done.
PC
Mac
They both suck. Real men use Linux.
PC. It gets the job done.
Anyone brought up Linux yet? Go Red Hat!

It's quite the pleasant system. I keep both Linux and Windows 7 x64 on my system.
Linux is a lot of hard work to "get", but I like it a lot, most certainly while accessing programs through Shells and using finite element programs. I even have/use one finite element program where I can actively change and/or contribute to it's root programming. Impossible in windows.
So my Mac loving teacher spent an hour explaining to us a "cool" feature that she claims only Macs have. Public folders and private password accounts. I had restrain myself from calling her a moron. Eventually she kept going on and on and then said, "So you can lock your account on a Mac so that's something cool that makes them ahead." And I was like, "Yeah I lock my account on my PC all the time." They're both equal as far as I'm concerned with the exception of some programs being Mac or PC exclusive. And it's always the same type of person who thinks Mac is the greatest thing since sliced bread and all other technology is inferior.
Lol, please tell me that's a made up story.
I'd say PC fanboyism is just as bad as Mac fanboyism these days, though! Mac fanatics may be snootier but at least they wash their hair.
But at least PC fanboyism is grounded in truth and not a stupid marketing plan.
I'm definitely not a PC (or more accurately, Microsoft/Windows) fanboy. Are there even Microsoft fanboys? I mean, there are plenty of Linux fanboys, but at least that's grounded in some sort of objective fact (Windows sucks and Macs aren't worth it).
I have both. My Mac is a laptop, and it overheats when I do video editing or video chats, which are the only things it's good for. So, yeah, PC.
I prefer PC's but with the design of vista and 7 I feel that PC isnt pandering to its constituency anymore, rather trying to draw in a new demographic. Mac knows its audience.
Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
Unfortunately, that wasn't a made up story. I too have a Mac laptop, but I never get problems with overheating when using Final Cut Pro or other programs. The only program that has given me problems on a Mac before is Pro Tools. Unless you count one of my teacher's Macs of Doom which kept crashing every five seconds.
