Lately BBC's Planet Earth series is shown on Animal Planet regularly and I'm completely hooked. It's not like I'm actually keeping track of when the show is on exactly, but I skip whatever I was watching when I run into it while zapping around. IMO, it's the best thing on TV since a long long time.

So who's with me? Discuss!

Best show ever. Seriously. I own the whole series, it's magic. My favourite episodes are "Ocean Deep" and "Caves" but all the episodes are really sweet, I love them all.

Discovery channel started up Life over here in November, too. It's basically the same type of show, and it's also great. I have to get it on DVD when it comes out here.

I have the whole series on Blu-ray and let me tell you its amazing!

BTW, did anyone else get freaked out by that one episode with where that weird fungus/parasite gets into insects, commands them to climb to the tallest part of a tree in a trance like state, then kill it and sprouts out of it?
Gave me goosebumps...
